As an IT architect, you consistently deliver high-quality solutions, tackle complex challenges, and apply best practices and modern technologies. You collaborate closely with your team to design and build robust, scalable, and maintainable software—avoiding short-term fixes in favor of long-term value. **About the Team** The Embedded Finance team at FIS is building the foundational infrastructure to deliver financial services—such as accounts, payments, cards, and expense management—directly within third-party software platforms. Leveraging cloud technologies like AWS and Azure, and programming languages including Java and Python, we’re creating API-first, embeddable solutions supported by developer-friendly tools, modern ledgers, operational consoles, and real-time observability. Our goal is to enable seamless integration of banking capabilities without the need for heavy upfront investment or long development cycles. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to fully understand the feature and product vision and provide engineering feedback. * Mentor junior engineers and help hire new talent to build a stronger team. * Collaborate with engineers, business analysts, product managers and senior leadership. * Participate in the agile (Scrum) process throughout the SDLC to engineer solutions to meet the business needs of our customers.
