What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years repair/service experience, Working knowledge of low voltage controls, Working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, Valid driver's license, Acceptable MVR, Maintain internal company testing requirements above 80%, High School diploma, Equivalent experience required, Basic computer skills, Basic handheld skills, Ability to follow reporting SOPs via handheld, Ability to read and interpret documents in English, Ability to work in a constant state of alertness, Ability to work in an unfatigued state, Ability to accurately gauge lengths of time and distance, Ability to quickly store and recall instructions, Ability to concentrate and perform tasks, Ability to cope with sudden changes, Demonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety, Possess fast reflexes, Unimpaired coordination, Ability to rapidly respond to stimuli, Not mentally or physically impaired, Ability to take prompt and appropriate response
Nice to Have
Journeyman Certification/License in Electrical, Journeyman License in Plumbing, Journeyman License in Mechanical Disciplines
What You'll Do.
Ensure ISB machines are operating to capacity
Produce to meet customer demand
Conduct service calls
Troubleshoot ISB machines
Complete installations of ISB
Perform preventive maintenance SOP
Inspect bagger components
Replace worn bagger components
Maintain overall cleanliness
Apply technical documentation
Work at customer locations
Work at Reddy Ice plants
Work within refurbishment centers
Attend company sponsored technician trainings
Learn additional trade skills
Ensure vehicle is in good working order
Ensure tools are in good working order
Ensure equipment is in good working order
Maintain spare parts inventory on vehicle
Communicate need for additional supplies
Communicate effectively with store personnel
Maximize ISB production
Effectively plan for peak demand
Engage in respectful communication with customers
Engage in consistent communication with customers
Promote outstanding customer service
Communicate opportunities for SOP improvement
Contribute to peer discussions
Display a professional attitude
Display a courteous attitude
Operate company vehicle safely
Report to assigned job site in uniform
