This position is responsible for various tasks related to the care, management, and preservation of trees, including diagnosing tree diseases, pruning, planting, and ensuring safe tree removals. **About Us:** Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America. **Why Wright Canada Holdings:** * A Company Culture of Safety, Family, Integrity, Excellence and Stewardship * We provide ALL equipment needed except your CSA Certified Work Boots * Working shifts, Monday to Friday * Medical and Dental benefits * Employee Ownership potential **Essential Job Duties:** * Prune trees to remove dead, damaged, or diseased branches * Trim overgrown trees to improve their structure, appearance, and safety * Perform crown thinning, crown raising, and crown reduction to promote healthy growth * Ensure proper pruning techniques are followed to avoid damaging the tree * Remove trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a hazard to people or property * Use appropriate equipment (e.g., chainsaws, ropes, cranes) to safely remove trees in tight spaces * Work with tree-climbing techniques or aerial lifts for larger trees * Supervise arborist laborers or tree care crews during tree care projects * Coordinate and manage tasks on larger job sites, ensuring smooth operations and safe practices * Evaluate site conditions and recommend the best tree care practices for the location * Inspect trees for signs of disease, pests, or structural problems * Assess tree health and recommend corrective actions, such as pruning, pest control, or soil management * Keeps informed of new equipm
