**Overview:** The Systems Analyst II will be responsible for application lifecycle management for the business and/or research related applications assigned. Small to medium sized project management and server administration skills desired. **Job Description Summary:** Analyses business needs, defines requirements, develops solutions, implements, manages, and supports systems. Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires 24/7 on call after-hours support. **Job Description:** **Essential Functions:** * Carries out systems analysis and provides support for complex medium to large systems across several departments. Manipulates, mines, and analyzes large, complex datasets. * Creates and maintains high quality system, report, and interface test scripts.Tests and debugs systems to ensure they are functioning properly. coordinates user acceptance testing. * Serves as a customer liaison for assigned business areas and provides technical support and troubleshooting for systems issues. * Documents system design, testing, and maintenance procedures for future reference. Assures data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans for assigned systems. * Collaborates with other IT professionals to integrate new systems with existing ones. * Performs system updates, patches, service releases, and upgrades as needed.
