What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Operate standard metrology equipment (caliper, height gauges, micrometer, bore gauges, dial indicators, surface plate, etc. ) for open set-up inspection, Operate and utilize Optical comparators and Vision Systems (Smart Scope, Keyence, or Dynascope) to inspect parts, Interpret simple and complex mechanical drawings and understand GD&T concepts to inspect parts using the correct type of inspection tool or equipment, Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs, Must be able to use or understand the use of standard inspection tools, gauges and Optical Comparators, Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance is required
Nice to Have
A. S. Engineering Degree, Understanding of SAP or other ERP systems to be able to perform lot transactions, Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices

Perform dimensional and visual inspections
Inspect incoming part specifications
Inspect First Articles
Inspect Engineer Inspection Requests
Perform detailed Documentation Review
Perform daily inspections of incoming parts
Conduct visual inspection of purchased parts
Record Inspection results
Create inspection history files
Maintain traceability of component materials
Handle materials in accordance with procedures
Use company ERP system
Physically move materials
Create non-conforming reports
Communicate inspection results
Verify and maintain accuracy
Perform a complete FAIR inspection
Perform any other projects or duties
