regular in-person engagement throughout the region, including meetings with IPAs, hospitals, brokers, provider partners, and internal stakeholders, averaging approximately 2–3 days per week in the field, Candidates should reside within or near Tulare, Kings, Kern, or Fresno County areas and be comfortable traveling throughout the Central Valley region as needed, Must be willing to travel in regions as needed, The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Demonstrate proficiency in marketing and provider CMS guidelines

The IPA Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and strengthening relationships with medical groups, Independent Practice Associations (IPAs), hospitals, and provider partners throughout Alignment Health’s Central Valley markets, including Tulare, Kings, Kern, and surrounding areas. This field remote role supports market growth initiatives and ensures IPA and provider partner performance aligns with the overall objectives of the health plan. This position requires strong knowledge of Medicare Advantage, provider and CMS guidelines, marketing considerations, and health plan operations. The IPA Manager will serve as a key liaison between provider organizations and internal teams, partnering closely with Market General Managers, Finance, Sales, Clinical, STARS, Risk Adjustment, and other cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual objectives set by market and executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings prior health plan, IPA, or medical group experience and is comfortable leading meetings, presenting operational and performance data, creating presentation materials, documenting action items, and following up on provider partner initiatives.
