What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or a related field. Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data analysis. A solid foundation in statistics and basic data analysis. A genuine passion for data mining, with curiosity and a fast learning ability. Good teamwork and communication skills, and a basic command of English (reading and writing).
What You'll Do.
Collect, clean and organise large datasets uploaded from IoT devices, such as sensor signals, GPS traces, images and videos.
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, anomalies and useful features in the data.
Support the team in building and evaluating data mining and machine learning models, for example for safe-driving analysis.
Create clear charts, dashboards and reports to communicate your findings to the team.
Write tidy, reproducible code and keep simple documentation of your work.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and product managers to understand questions and share results.
