What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years relevant business experience in the Wealth Management Industry, Current accreditation in good standing for CIRO Registered Representative licensing requirements
Nice to Have
Additional financial accreditation or designations (PFPC, CFP, CFA, CA, etc.)
What You'll Do.
Develop client relationships by understanding their priorities
Make personalized recommendations
Provide specialized advice and deliver integrated wealth management
Achieve client financial goals
Proactively establish
and maintain client relationships
Provide timely value-add information
Leverage technology to deliver a consistent client experience
Research investment products and services
Make informed recommendations
Ensure client issues are dealt with appropriately
Conduct regular portfolio reviews
Maintain regular contact with clients
Solicit new products/services
Ensure client information is current on KYC
Attend training programs/knowledge sessions
Complete Continuing Education Credits

The Investment Advisor, WGIC, provides trusted investment advice and exceptional client service to establish and reach their financial and investment goals. The role works within the team focused on the delivery of an integrated wealth management offer to clients requiring tailored financial solutions. _At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. To successfully perform the work, you’ll be on-site full-time Monday through Friday._ The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $75,870 to $104,320. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program.
