This position is located at 1359 Lomaland Dr, El Paso, Texas in the West Texas Tele-Center. You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: An individual with professional communication skills, the ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting strict deadlines. An individual who can provide exemplary customer service while obtaining unemployment insurance benefit information, displays great problem-solving skills, can apply unemployment rules in issuing timely decisions with quality and is able to provide important unemployment program information to our customers so they understand their next steps. To be successful as an investigator, you will have a passion for serving people and be able to work both independently and collaboratively as a part of a supportive team. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The investigator I performs entry-level to routine (journey-level) investigative work. Work involves conducting investigations. Works under moderate supervision, with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO: -Review and determining eligibility for unemployment benefits including liability of employers for reimbursement -Interview claimants and employers to gather facts on claims being investigated and entering fact finding statements during this process -Review requests from claimants for additional wages and deletio
