The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all inventory management activities within an aviation manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate inventory records, efficient material flow, compliance with aerospace regulations, and uninterrupted production support. The supervisor leads inventory personnel, coordinates with production and procurement teams, and maintains strict control of aviation parts, raw materials, tooling, and components in accordance with quality and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily inventory control operations including receiving, storage, issuance, cycle counting, and reconciliation of aviation materials and components. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits, and corrective actions. Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, FAA regulations, AS9100 requirements, and company quality procedures. Monitor material availability to support production schedules and minimize shortages or excess inventory. Coordinate with purchasing, production planning, warehouse, and quality departments to optimize material flow. Investigate inventory discrepancies, root causes, and implement preventive measures. Oversee ERP/MRP inventory transactions and ensure timely and accurate system updates.
