2+ years inventory control experience, 2+ years warehouse experience, 2+ years manufacturing experience, Experience with inventory systems, Experience with ERP/MRP systems, Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Ability to analyze data, Ability to solve inventory discrepancies, Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout warehouse and production areas, Ability to lift up to 40–50 pounds occasionally, Ability to operate inventory scanning equipment, Ability to operate computers
Nice to Have
Associate's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree preferred, Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred, Basic understanding of lean manufacturing, Basic understanding of continuous improvement practices

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory accuracy, material tracking, and inventory transactions within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal inventory levels, support production schedules, minimize shortages and excess stock, and maintain accurate records across warehouse and production operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with inventory systems, and the ability to work collaboratively with purchasing, production, warehouse, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods Perform cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and inventory reconciliations Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances Ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems Coordinate material movement between warehouse and production departments Support production planning by ensuring material availability Track inventory usage trends and recommend process improvements Maintain inventory records, documentation, and reporting metrics Collaborate with purchasing and supply chain teams to manage stock levels and avoid shortages Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures Assist in implementing inventory management best practices and continuous improvement initiatives Generate inventory reports
