This course, delivered in French, provides a broad introduction to the nature of engineering and examines its ethical, societal, and environmental implications, as well as the roles of different engineering disciplines in addressing major societal challenges. Responsibilities: • Develop and deliver engaging lectures and tutorials on the fundamentals of engineering and its impact on society • Introduce students to various engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical, computer, and software) and their sub-disciplines • Facilitate discussions and activities on ethical considerations, societal and environmental impacts of technology, and the responsibilities of engineers • Guide students in exploring the interdisciplinary and collaborative nature of engineering practice • Lead case studies and projects focused on grand challenges facing society and the role of engineers in addressing them • Assess student performance through assignments, presentations, and reflective exercises • Provide constructive feedback to support student learning and critical thinking • Hold office hours to assist students outside of class time _**Posting limited to:**_ Professeur à temps-partiel régulier / Regular Part-Time Professor _**Date Posted (YYYY/MM/DD):**_ 2026/05/15 _**Applicati
