Full Job Description
We are looking for a student who is currently studying in or near Graz and is keen to put their theoretical knowledge into practice by supporting our automotive NFC Customer Application engineering team. This part-time position focuses primarily on Python-based software tooling, with additional exposure to embedded development in C. You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to real-world automotive projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain internal software tools in Python * Support embedded software development in C * Collaborate with engineers on design, implementation, and testing * Participate in code reviews and team discussions * Work with development tools such as Git and Jira * Perform occasional hardware-related tasks (e.g., soldering, setups) **Profile Requirements:** * Ongoing enrollment in a relevant technical degree (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information and Computer Engineering, Informatics, Biomedical Engineering or similar) * Knowledge of Python (primary focus) and C * Interest in embedded systems and related tooling * Familiarity with Git and Jira is an advantage * Good command of English * Availability of at least 18 hours per week on average **We Offer:** * Hands-on experience in Python development within an embedded context * Mentorship and technical guidance from experienced engineers * Integration into a growing and collaborative team * Flexible working hours aligned with academic commitment * Opportunity to gain practical experience in the **automotive industry** Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
