Full Job Description

As a Product Security Intern, you will join a security-focused engineering team to design and implement a fuzzing framework targeting standard storage protocols such as NVMe or UFS. Your work will help improve robustness and security of protocol implementations by systematically generating and mutating protocol messages, automating test execution, and providing actionable triage outputs for engineering teams. ## Key Responsibilities * Study target protocol specifications and identify high‑value fuzzing surfaces (commands, descriptors, state machines, error paths). * Design a fuzzing architecture (generation/mutation strategies, seed corpus, state tracking, coverage signals where applicable). * Implement the tool in a suitable language (e.g., Python/C/C++) and integrate with existing open-source fuzzers or harnesses as appropriate. * Build protocol parsers/encoders and a test harness to interact with devices, emulators, simulators, or firmware targets. * Automate execution, logging, and crash/failure triage (reproducers, minimization, and reporting). * Analyze results, document findings, and propose improvements to increase coverage and defect discovery rate. * Present progress and final outcomes (design, demos, and documentation) to the team. ## Minimum Qualifications * Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. * Strong programming skills in at least one of: Python, C, or C++. * Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals (processes, memory, I/O, concurrency) and debugging techniques. * Familiarity with networking/protocol concepts and binary data formats (serializa
