What They're Looking For.

Must Have

3–5 years proven experience in internal communications or a related field such as events, marketing, corporate communications or employee engagement, Experience delivering communications across multiple channels, including digital platforms and live events, writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging content, Highly organised, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment, Confident advising team members and providing constructive feedback on messaging and content, Proactive and alert to connections across the organisation, with the ability to anticipate implications and discreetly flag risks or opportunities, Comfortable using data and feedback to evaluate impact and improve future communications

Nice to Have

Familiarity with LumApps or similar intranet platforms is desirable, Experience working within a global organisation or matrixed environment, Familiarity with employee engagement measurement tools and internal analytics reporting, Interest in media, journalism and the FT’s mission

What You'll Do.

Deliver high-quality communications and events that connect colleagues to the FT Group’s priorities

Create a steady drumbeat of communications aligned to FT2030 and ensure initiatives are clearly understood across the business

Coordinate core internal channels and events

Maintain high standards across intranet and internal platforms

Plan and deliver communications across core internal channels

including all-staff and UK regional newsletters

Run and maintain the FT Group intranet (LumApps)

supporting content owners with page structure and design to ensure clarity

consistency and adherence to brand guidelines

Deliver internal events for UK and global colleagues

talks programmes and occasional social events

Partner with business leaders and project teams to develop clear

engaging messaging that resonates with colleagues

Track engagement and produce clear reports on the impact of internal communications activity

using insights to improve future campaigns and channels
