Full Job Description

**Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.** Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing. **Location:****** F10N **Department:** DIFFUSION/IMPLANT PROCESS and EQUIPMENT ENGINEERING **Project Title:** Diffusion Furnace Batch Load Size Increase Qualification To Achieve Max Out Impact **Project Description: ****** This project focuses on qualifying and expanding the volume of batches processed in a diffusion furnace. It also ensures no negative impact on product quality, wafer yield, or manufacturing line performance. The work will support the department’s objective to maximize manufacturing output through process optimization. The project will involve understanding process gas flow behavior within the diffusion furnace, including how different gas injectors influence gas distribution and uniformity. In addition, the project will study how temperature modulation across multiple furnace heating zones affects film deposition uniformity along the furnace boat. Findings from this study will be used to define and validate operating conditions that enable higher batch loading while maintaining process robustness. **The objective of the project is to increase diffusion furnace batch capacity by optimizing gas flow and temperature profiles. It must not affect wafer quality, yield, or manufacturing line metrics. The goal is to reach the maximum output target.** **Project Scope: ****** * Analyze gas flow and temperature behavior in diffusion furnaces and their impact on film deposition and wafer performance * Correlate process conditions with film uniformity and
