Project Title: Mechanical Design and Process Understanding for Chemical Mechanical Polishing Systems Project Description: This internship project will focus on developing an understanding of equipment design considerations within chemical mechanical polishing manufacturing processes. The intern will explore process requirements, component positioning, and design concepts related to chemical and rinse delivery systems through structured learning and guided exposure. The project provides opportunities to gain insight into how equipment design influences process consistency and defect control, while building foundational knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and engineering analysis. Objective of the project: To develop a foundational understanding of mechanical design concepts and their impact on process performance within chemical mechanical polishing systems. Project Scope: * Gain understanding of chemical mechanical polishing equipment platforms and process flow * Explore component positioning and design considerations for chemical and rinse systems * Learn basic mechanical design concepts using tools such as computer-aided design software * Analyse process and defect-related data to understand relationships with equipment setup * Observe how engineering and technician teams evaluate equipment improvement concepts * Document observations and design considerations based on analysis and learning Learning Opportunities: * Exposure to chemical mechani
