Full Job Description
**Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for _all_. ** Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. **Project Title:** CTO End‑to‑End Cycle Time (CT) Tracking (Reservation → Pack to FG) **Description:** CTO Cycle Time is currently fragmented across systems, steps, and teams, resulting in: * Limited visibility to _where CT is lost_ * Misalignment between Manufacturing and Planning * Reactive output commitments to TSP instead of predictable delivery This project establishes a single, end‑to‑end CT definition and tracking mechanism to compare ideal vs actual CT, enabling fact‑based commitment reliability and proactive CTO control. ## **Scope:** * Covers CTO flow from Reservation Creation → CTO Processing → Pack to FG * Learn to measures CT at key control points, not every micro‑step * Focuses on visibility, alignment, and decision‑making (not system redesign) **Supporting Team:** * Manufacturing, * Quality, * Planning, * Test Engineering, * TSP (Tactical Supply Planning), * Process Engineering, * Equipment Engineering ## **Deliverables:** * Single Source of Truth CT View à End‑to‑end ideal vs actual CTO CT, used by Manufacturing & Planning * CT Loss Pareto & Insights à Clear visibility to where and why CTO time is lost * CT Governance Model à Ownership, review rhythm, and escalation when CT deviates * Improved Planning Confidence à Predictable commitments to TSP based on real CT capability **Stretch Goal:** * Learn to lead a small process improvement project (Lean/5S) with measurable impact * Learn to reduce cycle time / scrap / downtime with data-driven solution * Learn to develop & present RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to supervisors * Learn to create or improve SOP / work instruction for a real process * Learn to build dashboard/report (Excel) for production metric
