Full Job Description
**Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.** Join an inclusive team passionate about one thing: using their expertise in the relentless pursuit of innovation for customers and partners. The solutions we build help make everything from virtual reality experiences to breakthroughs in neural networks possible. We do it all while committing to integrity, sustainability, and giving back to our communities. Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing. ## **Project Description** This internship project provides structured exposure to NAND wafer fabrication manufacturing through a learning‑focused and project‑based approach. The intern will be introduced to key front‑end manufacturing processes, equipment lifecycle concepts, and manufacturing performance indicators within a world‑class fabrication facility. Under the guidance of an assigned mentor, the intern will learn how different manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance concepts, and tool release workflows are designed and governed in a semiconductor fabrication environment. The internship emphasizes observation, analysis, documentation, and improvement planning rather than execution of operational or shift‑based work. Through this project, the intern will gain an understanding of how manufacturing processes, equipment readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives collectively influence fab performance and manufacturing metrics. ## **Project Scope** During the internship, the intern will: * Learn the fundamentals of major wafer fabrication manufacturing processes used in NAND production. * Study the purpose and structure of scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance events through guided walkthroughs, case studies, and documentation review. * Understand the standard workflow and controls for manufacturing tool release following maintenance activities. * Analyze how manufacturing metrics are defined, tracked, and used to evaluate fab performance. *
