Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services and other support functions. **What does the FIL Team do in ING?** The FIL team is under Transaction Management, which is part of ING’s Wholesale Bank (“WB”) Lending. It is responsible for credit risk analysis, limits/rating reviews and lending origination and documentation for Banks and Non-bank financial institution (“NBFI”) counterparties. Fund Finance (“FF”) and Insurance Sector Finance (“ISF”) are also part of FIL in APAC for Transaction and Portfolio Management activities. FF supports funds clients with the provision of capital call facilities and other financing solutions. More broadly Fund Finance is a global business for ING, with teams in New York, London, Luxembourg, and Singapore.
