Summer and Year-Round Engineering Support Internship! TxDOT's Waco District has a job opening(s) for a Year-Round or Summer Intern Engineering Support Tech at our Gatesville Area and Waco Area Offices! Annually, over 500 College and High School students from across Texas and beyond select the Texas Department of Transportation as their employer of choice. Engineering Support Techs assists in transportation engineering support work such as construction or maintenance inspection, structural construction or maintenance, laboratory work, landscaping, surveying, or engineering data collection, operating data collection equipment, and other entry-level engineering support work. Employees at this level perform assignments following specific instructions and are subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.
