Description: * The Yield Enhancement internship program aims to provide students with training and practical experiences in identifying and communicating probe, process, and design issues that limit the wafer yield. In this position, you will perform daily analysis of electrical data as well as electrical and visual characterization of failing devices. You will also identify defects by performing analysis through various experiments, writing clear and concise reports, and performing technical presentations on the issues analyzed. Project Scope: In this project, the student will learn * Analysis includes circuit and electrical fault isolation using Electrical Characterization and Fault Isolation tools * Establish and form possible electrical or process failure mechanisms on yield issues based on Electrical and FA characterization. * Engage in the cross-functional focus team in resolving issues. Deliverable: * Able to independently handle basic EFA tools. * Establish and form possible electrical or process failure mechanisms to explain and resolve yield issues. Skillset Required: * Knowledge of electrical/microelectronic/electronic-related (e.g., testing and characterization).
