Full Job Description
**Role Summary** The role supports the EHS function in pharmaceutical operations by learning and assisting with the management of environmental impacts (waste disposal, emissions, hazardous materials), emergency preparedness, and incident investigations. It contributes to audits, inspections, and assessments to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance and supports implementation of departmental objectives and projects, helping to ensure overall safety and sustainability across the organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Learn about managing environmental impacts of pharmaceutical operations, including proper waste disposal, emission reduction, and safe handling of hazardous materials. * Learn and support emergency response plans and procedures for events such as fires, chemical spills, and natural disasters. * Assist in investigating workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses to identify root causes and support corrective and preventive actions. * Support audits, inspections, and EHS assessments to identify gaps, implement best practices, and enhance EHS performance. * Contribute to the implementation of departmental EHS objectives, programs, and projects. * Support the EHS team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in line with company standards and regulations. **Education & Skills** * Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Environmental) or EHS-related qualifications or coursework preferred * Interest in Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry. * Basic understanding of engineering principles and their application in industrial/plant environments. * Awareness or willingness to learn about environmental regulations, waste management, and hazardous materials handling. * Analytical mindset for incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. * Attention to detail, strong safety mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement. * Ability to collaborate with EHS and cross
