Must Have
Diploma/Degree in Computing Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems, Experience with Operating Systems, TCP/IP networks and basic Cybersecurity concepts, Hands-on trouble shooting of application and network issues using logs and common tools, Common networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS and TLS, Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Domains, Understanding of cloud services and data governance as it relates to cyber security
Nice to Have
Enrollment in or recent completion of the NAIT Cybersecurity Post Diploma Certificate Program, Experience working in a corporate environment as a member of a team, Experience with scripting
What You'll Do.
support the operation of Capital Power’s cyber security infrastructure
participating in daily operational tasks
incident investigations
Providing support services for IS Cyber Security
Supporting sophisticated and diverse set of cyber security hardware
Providing support services that meets outlined “Service Level Agreements”
Providing input into decisions within the cyber security team
Participating in the investigation and resolution of cyber security events
Applying appropriate troubleshooting / investigative skills
and implementing solutions
