What They're Looking For.
Must Have
One year of customer service experience, One year of experience using Microsoft Office, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, HS Diploma or equivalent, Currently enrolled in an accredited college
What You'll Do.
Assist with the preparation and mailing of donor letters
thank-you communications
and outreach materials as needed.
Gain exposure to donor communications by reviewing inquiry types
learning response standards
and assisting with drafting suggested responses
Import data accurately into the donor tracking system.
Assist with research on current fundraising channels and help compile reports identifying potential growth opportunities.
Learn how social media supports fundraising efforts by helping identify community groups and audiences that may be appropriate for outreach and promotion.
Support the creation of engaging resources for various fundraising channels

and event challenges to increase participation and supporter engagement.
Participate in team discussions to review existing Community Fundraising materials and share observations or research findings related to potential enhancements.
Build foundational knowledge of Community Fundraising operations
Business Development objectives
and Wounded Warrior Project’s mission through training

Learn and participate in other events or tasks as applicable.
