_**Job Description:**_ AMA is currently accepting applications for a short term (10 week) summer internship position associated with the Aerothermodynamics branch in the Entry Systems Division at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA. The successful candidate will perform diode laser absorption measurements in the NASA Ames Electric Arc Shock Tube (EAST) Facility. Measurement data will be analyzed to obtain temperatures and number densities of species in air shocks from Mach 10-30. The pay rate for this position will be $29.50-$33.50 per hour and is commensurate with experience and education.
