### **Job Description** ## **Overview** AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Structural Engineering team in Toronto. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of structural engineering services across a broad range of projects, supporting design development, technical coordination, and project execution within multidisciplinary teams. ## **Your role** * Perform structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and timber systems. * Support structural design development through multiple project stages, from early studies to detailed design. * Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and supporting documentation. * Coordinate and review structural drawings and models prepared using CAD and BIM tools. * Work collaboratively with architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, and geotechnical disciplines. * Participate in technical reviews, coordination meetings, and internal quality assurance processes. * Attend site visits and field observations as required to support design development, verification, and issue resolution. * Review technical submissions and provide engineering input to address project specific challenges. * Contribute to the coordination and technical delivery of assigned project components, collaborating with senior engineers and project managers as part of the project team. * Collaborate with internal project teams across multiple locations, including coordination with Canadian or U.S. offices as needed. * Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and EITs, as appropriate. ## **About you** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is an asset. * Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. * Minimum of 8 years of relevant structural engineering experience. * Experience in a consulting engineering or infrastructure focused environment preferred. * Experience with struc
