What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science or a related field, 4 - 6 years of work experience related to mining/remediation/reclamation/mine closure/permitting or similar, Ability to work effectively with team members, lead independent projects, organizational and time-management skills, Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), other business software, Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, work independently or as part of a team, verbal and written communication skills
What You'll Do.
Provide input for reclamation
permitting and assessment projects
Lead development of cost estimates for mine closure projects
Lead development of life-of-mine costs
Participate in workshops and engagement sessions
Support development of reclamation and closure plans
Support development of alternative assessments
Support development of reclamation research plans
Support development of closure strategy
Support stakeholder engagement for projects
Provide technical input in closure and reclamation planning
Contribute to growth of Reclamation and Mine Closure Department
Contribute to implementation of reclamation closure strategies
Provide input to compliance of plan implementation
Support environmental assessments
Support licensing and permit applications
Work collaboratively with technical teams
Proactively identify opportunities to improve project environmental design
Develop integrated project schedules
Develop critical path for end-to-end tasks
Conduct summary reporting
Conduct technical reporting
Participate in workshops and meetings
Interface with on-site staff
Interface with vendors
Interface with customers
Interface with regulatory personnel
Provide technical input to projects
Interface with other technical experts
Achieve multidisciplinary project goals
