Post-secondary degree or diploma in electrical technology, Power Distribution System focus, Equipment commissioning experience, Grounding grid testing experience, Knowledge of French
What You'll Do.
Develop design drawings for substations
Develop design drawings for generation facilities
Validate scope requirements
Determine existing assets condition
Ensure design work conforms to codes
Ensure design work conforms to client standards
Produce bills of materials
Enter material into systems
Perform ampacity calculations
Perform voltage drop calculations
Perform system calculations
Perform material cost estimation
Perform labour cost estimation
Circulate design drawings for review
Provide design revisions
Coordinate with other disciplines
Coordinate with stakeholders
Complete applications for AHJ
Complete applications for municipal construction
Prepare technical input for reports
Prepare technical input for specifications
Prepare technical input for proposals
Prepare technical input for project schedules
Prepare technical input for cost estimates
Assist senior staff with client responses
