Interiors Certification Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) **Company:** The Boeing Company The 737 Payloads Team within **Boeing Commercial Airplanes** is seeking **Interiors Certification Engineers and** **Interiors Certification Plan Owners** **(mid-level or senior)** to join our certification teams in **Renton, WA**. The Certification Plan Owners and Certification Engineer work closely together; team placement will be determined by candidate qualifications. The Payloads Organization is responsible for everything you see when you fly; and much of which you don’t. The Interiors of the airplane, along with the cargo compartments, exterior markings, associated systems, and cabin safety all make up Payloads. We are how our airline customers fulfill their mission and represent their brand and shape how the public experiences flight. Our organization is a fast paced, dynamic environment, which pulls from many engineering backgrounds. These positions are dynamic, which requires an ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical issues. The positions require the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks using project management and time management skills in support of testing, certification, and airplane delivery schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for statement of work that spans the product lifecycle from engaging with customer requests through supporting post-delivery changes. Your work will include the need to interface with Design Approval Engineers (DAE), Engineering Unit Members (E-UM), Regulatory Administration, Production Engineering, program/product teams, management, and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions through the cabin safety certification processes.
