The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area. Please note that only candidates local to the Calgary area will be considered. Reporting to: Superintendent Duties and Responsibilities: * Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. * Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures * Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions * Lead QA/QC checks and inspections * Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings * Draft and submit RFI’s * Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site * Other duties as required * Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner * Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures Skills and Knowledge: * The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others * Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential. * Conflict resolution * The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season Qualifications: * Journeyperson trade certification * 8+ years of construction experience * Valid first aid certificate an asset * Valid Fall
