**Salary: $122,264 – $153,195 + Superannuation + NT Benefits** Are you an Intensive Care, Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics or Rural Generalist trainee seeking a unique critical care experience in one of Australia's most diverse and clinically rewarding environments? We are currently recruiting for an Intensive Care Registrar to join a leading tertiary referral hospital in Northern Australia. This position offers accredited critical care training, exposure to complex pathology rarely encountered elsewhere in Australia, and the opportunity to work within a highly supportive multidisciplinary ICU team. ### The Hospital This major tertiary referral hospital is the principal teaching and referral centre for the Northern Territory and serves a population extending across vast areas of northern Australia. With more than 350 beds, the hospital provides a comprehensive range of specialist services including trauma, neurosurgery, cardiology, infectious diseases, paediatrics, oncology, renal medicine and critical care. As the largest hospital in the Territory, it plays a vital role in supporting remote and regional communities while maintaining strong affiliations with medical colleges and training programs throughout Australia. ### The Intensive Care Unit The ICU is one of the busiest and most diverse critical care units in regional Australia, managing more than 1,400 adult and paediatric admissions annually. The unit is accredited for 12 months of CICM training and satisfies training requirements in trauma, paediatrics, rural medicine and neurosurgery. It also provides valuable critical care experience for trainees undertaking ACEM, ANZCA and ACCRM training pathways.
