What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1-3 years of experience in a relevant technical field, Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills, communication skills, Willingness to work rotating shifts and wear required personal protective equipment, Knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, HMI systems, and process control, Able to read and use electrical schematics and single-line drawings, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify issues proactively, Applied electrical and controls skills in an industrial environment, Proficiency in understanding and maintaining operational standards, ensuring they are documented and followed, Maintain accurate records and data, Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical capabilities, Lift, lower, carry, push & pull objects up to 50 lbs, Ability to flex, extend, and rotate neck, The ability to work at heights & climb stairs/ladders/platforms, etc. , on and around equipment, Stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, Surface: Concrete, gravel, asphalt (uneven surfaces), and equipment, Twist bend at the knees, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach, The ability to meet the requirements of safe operation and personal safety, including wearing PPE and the ability to respond appropriately to various visual and audible alarms and signals, Operate a computer and keyboard to input and access data, and phone as well as scanners and electronic interfaces, The ability to enter and work in enclosed areas, The ability to work in extreme temperatures both hot and cold, generally in warehouse conditions including wide variances in temperature, dust and dirt, Learn/Know terminology and functions of machine components, Meet the requirements of Quality/Good Manufacturing Practices/Good Lab Practices, following applicable gowning/de-gowning when working in the lab, Ability to position & move cases of product, bottles, connect hoses, handle glass flasks and bottles, etc. (may include grasping), Work around odor of perfume or wear the appropriate PPE to eliminate the odor

**Job Location** BRANTFORD MIX CENTER **Job Description** **Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA) Technician** **Job Description** Would you like to work in Automation for P&G – one of Canada’s Top 100 Employers (2026)? We are looking to fill a future vacancy for an Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA) Technician to join our team in Brantford, Ontario at our Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre (GTFC). This is an on-shift role which may require early morning, evening, and overnight shift work. ICA Technicians are responsible for managing and owning systems and equipment standards, troubleshooting issues, coaching others through the resolution of problems/needs, eliminating defects, and building technical mastery. They have electrical and controls skills to successfully troubleshoot problems and proactively improve production systems. ICA Technicians perform various types of work, such as: * Participating in initiatives to identify and eliminate inefficiencies within technology zones * Acting as a Subject Matter Expert, guiding the development and deployment of proven operational standards * Scheduling and leading training sessions to enhance team capabilities, both onsite and offsite * Driving loss elimination and change management projects * Supporting escalation efforts for chronic losses and working collaboratively with the team to build continuous improvement practices * Engaging in technical projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall plant performance **Work Hours:** Able to work 12-hour shifts, schedule bi-weekly rotation schedule. Shifts are assigned depending on business need. We cannot guarantee your preference of shift is what you will be assigned. Day shift is 6:00am-6:30pm and night shift 6:00pm-6:30am. **Flexibility:** You may work rotating shifts with your team. **Overtime** : Overtime may be required on weekends and/or holidays. _What do we offer:_ • Responsibilities from Day1; you will have ownership for your work plan from the beginning
