As an Intelligence Advisor focused on the Japan market, you will help organizations navigate the intersection of geopolitics, emerging technology, and economic security. This role is ideal for someone who can transform complex intelligence and fragmented data into clear, decision-ready insights for executives and operational leaders. You will work closely with clients in Japan while collaborating across Strider’s intelligence, product, and engineering teams in the United States. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions related to technology competition, supply chain resilience, and national security risk in a rapidly evolving global landscape. KEY QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Professional experience in strategic intelligence, geopolitical risk analysis, economic security, or a related field. - Expertise in the People’s Republic of China’s science and technology strategy, including technology acquisition and industrial policy. - Experience conducting open-source intelligence (OSINT) research and analysis. - Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience briefing senior executive, government, or institutional audiences. - Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders in Japanese. - Experience developing intelligence products that translate technical or geopolitical developments into operationally relevant insights. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment with strong ownership and accountability.
