What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. S. or higher degree in engineering, materials science or chemistry, 10 + years of material or process development experience, Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills, Outstanding oral and written communication skills, Solid understanding of industry issues and trends, Understanding of material science, product development and manufacturing, Ability to quickly and effectively assess, evaluate, and communicate market opportunities, Ability to assess competitive issues, Ability to assess technical differentiation, Ability to assess business performance, Excellent interpersonal skills, Ability to effectively communicate across organizational and cultural boundaries, Ability to motivate, facilitate and direct activities of individuals and project teams, Accountable behavior, Follows-up his/her commitments, Communicates effectively and proactively, Excellent organizational and resource management skills, Ability to travel on a frequent and extended basis
Nice to Have
Experience with leading a group of technical professionals, Experience with thin film deposition processes, ALD/CVD systems experience is strongly desired

Contribute to an ALAM technology integration roadmap
Identify new materials opportunities
Assess potential of new materials
Leverage strengths to position ALAM
Drive resolution of weaknesses
Work closely with AL teams
Map out potential markets
Identify strongest business opportunities
Develop a technical network at Intel / Micron
Understand roles and responsibilities
Understand process development / adoption decision making
Organize regular Technology Review Meetings
Develop ALAM technical network
Map out equipment companies position
Report information within ALAM
Collaborate with the office of the ALAM CTO
Comprehend technology inflections
Deliver best technology to customers
Complete competitive intelligence gathering
Ensure alignment of product management
Act as a technical interface to Intel &
Define win-win solutions
Share product improvement directions
Meet customer technical performance requirements
Ensure successful sample deliveries
Communicate scale-up plan
