What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience as an Integration Engineer or in a similar role, hands-on experience with at least one integration platform (Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, TIBCO, Boomi, etc.), Experience developing APIs, middleware, and integration solutions, Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Integration Cloud), analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, Confident stakeholder engagement skills with communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to Have
Familiarity with microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices, Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data governance principles

Your Opportunity As an Integration Engineer, you’ll develop and implement integration strategies and solutions in collaboration with technology and business stakeholders. Your role will see you: * Designing and implementing integration architectures aligned with business and technology strategies. * Developing and deploying APIs, middleware, and data pipelines across cloud and on-premises environments. * Analysing existing systems to identify integration and optimisation opportunities. * Partnering with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. * Assessing emerging technologies and recommending best-fit integration tools and platforms. * Monitoring and optimising integration performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. * Troubleshooting and resolving integration issues to minimise downtime and ensure business continuity. * Creating and maintaining technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and specifications.
