Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, 5+ years experience in well construction, completions, intervention, or optimization, Experience in BHA design, drill bits selection, simulations, field operations, or well program development, Proficient in MS Office, Proficient in Power BI, Proficient in well engineering software
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Oil & Gas or Well Engineering, Experience with conventional, horizontal, multilateral, or unconventional wells, Knowledge of drilling practices, Knowledge of advanced well architectures, Well control awareness, Basic knowledge of geomechanics

This role ensures that all engineering activities are aligned with Baker Hughes’ Integrated Solutions Management System, regulatory standards, and customer requirements. The Well Engineer contributes from early concept and tendering phases through execution and project close-out, providing technical expertise, operational support, and continuous improvement insights. By working closely with stakeholders across engineering, operations, HSE, commercial, and service delivery, the engineer ensures safe operations, well integrity, and optimized performance.
