The Role We're seeking a Part-Time Insurance Verification Associate with deep expertise in dental insurance plans and payer systems. What You'll Do - Audit Pearl's insurance verification workflows and data for accuracy and completeness across plan types (PPO, Individual, DHMO, Medicare, Medicaid, FEP/FEDVIP, MediCal, and others) - Document gaps clearly — including what's wrong, why it matters, and what the correct behavior should be — in formats that engineering and product can act on - Partner with engineering to drive resolution of identified gaps, providing context and clarification throughout the fix cycle - Validate that fixes are accurate once implemented, and flag regressions - Serve as the go-to resource for payer-specific login requirements, eligibility rules, and verification workflows for top dental payers - Support sales and customer success with accurate, up-to-date information on plan and payer coverage as needed What You'll Need to Succeed - Deep, hands-on knowledge of dental insurance verification across PPO, Individual, DHMO, Medicare, Medicaid, FEDVIP, and MediCal plans, including login and portal require
