# **Location:** Heathrow | **KONE** **Hours:** 40 hours – Nights, Monday–Thursday * **Option 1:** 20:00–07:00 * **Option 2:** 19:00–06:00 * **1 hour lunch** **Holiday:** 20 days + bank holidays ## **Role Overview** We are looking for a **VB Escalator Inspector** to join our Heathrow team on a night shift pattern. This role focuses on the inspection, testing, and verification of escalators to ensure they meet KONE safety, quality, and compliance standards. ## **Key Responsibilities** * Carry out **VB inspections and testing** on Lifts * Identify defects, wear, and safety risks * Ensure compliance with KONE standards and industry regulations * Complete accurate inspection reports using KONE systems * Work closely with service and repair teams to plan corrective actions * Support safety audits and site procedures * Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and safe working ## **What We’re Looking For** * Experience working on Escalators in a service/inspection environment * Good technical understanding of escalator components and safety circuits * Ability to follow inspection processes and report clearly * Strong focus on safety and quality * Able to work night shifts Mon–Thu * Full UK driving licence and ability to meet Heathrow clearance ## **What We Offer** * 40 hour night shift pattern (Mon–Thu) * 20 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension, life assurance & KONE benefits * Training and development within a global company * Opportunity to work at a flagship airport site **Please note:** This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. _At KONE, we are focused on creating an innovative and collaborative working culture where we value the contribution of each individual.
