Find your future with us! **Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT &E)** is seeking a **Instrumentation Technician C** to join our teams in either **Tukwila, WA** or **Seattle, WA**. In this role, you will work with blueprints, schematics, technical manuals and bulletins, National Bureau of Standards, manufacturers’ specifications, oral and written instructions. You will be installing instrumentation, primarily strain gauges and thermocouples on all models of Boeing aircraft civilian, military and space. **Position Responsibilities:** * Receive work assignment from team leader or supervisor and obtain necessary materials and equipment * Obtain appropriate engineering drawings and test documents, as required, for assignment if drawings, sketches, and documents are not with work assignment * Fabricate wire or fiber optic bundles used to connect various types of test and computer equipment together or test sensing equipment used to monitor and measure, for the purpose of collecting and storing data during test * Set up and perform qualification test, bench test, or automatic test as required per work assignment, test document, test equipment manuals, and/or engineering instructions * Install fiber optic strain gages, thermocouples, accelerometers, and strain gages by soldering, bonding, spot welding, or using mechanical fastening devices * Use a scissor or boom lift to access areas for instrumentation installation this work is performed both inside hangars and outside on airfields * Perform modification of test equipment to meet engineering configuration, as required * Select proper hand, power, and/or bench tools needed to perform required operation, such as screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, crimpers, cable tools, band saw, dri
