Worker Type: Employee Job Post End Date: 06/16/2026 ** _About this opportunity:_** The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the offshore maintenance team to ensure equipment is maintained safely, reliably, and efficiently to meet production targets. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of FPSO operations and extensive experience in instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues, execute preventative and corrective maintenance activities, and work collaboratively with operations and maintenance teams in a dynamic offshore environment This is a full-time, permanent position working offshore 12 hours per day on a 3 weeks on/ 3 weeks off rotation. **_What you’ll do:_** * Maintain the integrity of all instrumentation, equipment, and control systems by performing safe and efficient maintenance in accordance with Cenovus policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and offshore industry standards, ensuring work is completed in the most productive, cost-effective, and safe manner. * Participate in emergency response (ER) activities and training as required, including serving as a member of fire and helideck teams when called upon. * Prepare and submit spare parts requirements and modification proposals, while identifying appropriate inventory levels and ensuring stock is maintained at optimal operational capacity. * Perform fault finding and diagnostics on plant and system issues, taking corrective action to prevent downtime and maximize oil and gas production. * Occasionally support the coordinator role to provide coverage during assignments or absences. **_Who you are:_** Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: * Legally authorized to work in Canada * Journeyman certification in Instrumentation Technology or a related technologist discipline * Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an offshore Instrumentation Technician * Working knowledge of Siemen
