What They're Looking For.
Must Have
A minimum of a diploma in Early Childhood Education with relevant experience, Minimum of five years of related experience in the Early Childhood Education industry working directly with children in the Calgary area, Level 3 Child Care Certification (formerly known as Child Development Supervisor), High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
Nice to Have
A bachelor’s degree with a focus on Early Childhood Education would be considered an asset, Experience teaching at a post-secondary level is preferred
What You'll Do.
Assist with preparation and delivery of lectures and lab demonstrations to students enrolled in the program and/or assist other instructors in program delivery
Use innovative instructional techniques to create an optimal learning environment
Participate in curriculum
certification and program reviews as required
Prepare additional materials for learners
Evaluate student progress and achievement by provide ongoing support
guidance and advice to learners
Maintain close contact with relevant industry sectors
Perform related duties as assigned to meet the emerging needs of SAIT and its students
Promote and support SAIT Polytechnic’s mission statements
strategic and academic plans
Remain current in the Early Childhood field

Our passionate health experts work closely with industry to transform learners into leaders. The Opportunity Job classification: S4001 - Instructor # of positions: 3 Hourly rate: $39.33 Position End Date: June 30, 2027 Deadline to apply: 4:00PM, May 22, 2026 This position will support the School in teaching the Early Childhood Education Diploma and Certificate. These hours are delivered face to face on the main SAIT campus in Calgary. We are looking for people available to teach one or more of the following courses: 1.
