Must Have
7+ years of industry experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science, with hands-on expertise in building and deploying AI models., A understanding of core AI/ML concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning architectures (CNNs, RNNs, LLMs), and modern frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn., Proficiency in Python and experience with data handling libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib., Practical experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision, including use of pre-trained models and transfer learning techniques., Familiarity with Generative AI models such as GPT, BERT, Stable Diffusion, and techniques like Transformers, RLHF, RAG, and prompt engineering., A applied background in using AI for business or research applications—experience in implementing or fine-tuning generative or predictive models is highly valued., Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex AI topics for diverse learners., A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and staying updated with the latest advancements in AI and generative technologies.
Nice to Have
Prior teaching, mentoring, or training experience in an academic or corporate environment., Advanced degrees such as MTech/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or relevant certifications in Data Science/AI.
What You'll Do.
Deliver content from our Applied AI Program
Master the practical applications of AI
and generative AI technologies across industries
Conduct live online sessions
Guide learners through hands-on projects and capstone assignments
Mentor them on applying AI techniques to solve real-world problems
Bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and industry implementation
Empower professionals to design
and deploy AI-driven solutions effectively
Engage with learners through interactive discussions
professional and inclusive learning environment
Teach select lessons in accordance with learning objectives and fidelity to session plans
Employ strategies known to meet the needs of adult learners
instructional best practices and connecting content to the real world by sharing industry insights and professional experiences
Manage regular communication with students to align on progress
celebrate milestones and address concern areas
Provide individualized student support during synchronous class sessions and outside class synchronously during office hours and asynchronously through timely communication
Evaluate student performance and progression toward competencies based on course deliverables and course rubrics
Provide constructive and timely feedback to students in the cohort
Assist in the management of Performance Action Plans for individual students who need additional support
Serve as role model for students and as an ambassador for our brand
Exhibit professionalism and an ethical and empathetic approach when engaging with Simplilearn staff
Promote student retention and amplify student satisfaction by creating a positive classroom culture for the Learning Team
