Job Title: Instructional Technology Specialist Position Function: The Instructional Technology and Assessment Leader is a multifaceted position responsible for ensuring that technology and data analytics robustly support and enhance student achievement. This role involves curriculum integration, staff development, technical support, and the promotion of digital literacy and citizenship. The specialist will work closely with educators, students, and administrative staff to foster a technologically proficient learning environment that aligns with the school's vision and educational goals. This role is designed to be a cornerstone in the integration of technology and data within the educational landscape, ensuring that both are leveraged to maximize student achievement and prepare students for the demands of the 21st-century workplace. Essential Performance Responsibilities: Collaborate with school leadership and staff to integrate technology and data analytics into the curriculum effectively. Provide pedagogical support to teachers for leveraging technology in the classroom to facilitate deeper learning and digital citizenship. Lead professional development initiatives and coach educators in best practices for technology use and data-driven instruction as a member of the building-based academic leadership team. Coordinate the implementation of assessment plans and analyze educational data to inform teaching strategies and improve student outcomes. Provide training to staff on administering different types of assessments. Serve as a liaison between the school and assessment and research department, ensuring that data analysis aligns with educational objectives and district directives. Advocate for innovative teaching practices and support the exploration of new technologies to enhance learning experiences.
