What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, Valid teaching certification, 3–5+ years of classroom teaching experience, Expertise in adult learning theory, Professional development facilitation expertise, Knowledge of research based instructional practices, Knowledge of assessment strategies
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Instructional Design, or related area, Experience coaching teachers, Experience leading PD, Experience supervising student teachers, Familiarity with instructional frameworks, Experience with digital learning tools, Experience with educational technology platforms
What You'll Do.
Design training sessions
Deliver training sessions
Model high-quality teaching practices
Provide ongoing coaching
Support teachers implementing intervention programs
Support teachers implementing targeted instructional strategies
Partner with teachers to build expertise in analyzing
Partner with teachers to build expertise in identifying
Partner with teachers to build expertise in planning
Design professional learning sessions
Facilitate professional learning sessions
Create coaching tools
Create training materials
Create intervention frameworks
Create implementation resources
Curate research-based intervention practices
Adapt research-based intervention practices
Work closely with instructional leaders
Work closely with principals
Work closely with intervention teams
Work closely with other stakeholders
Lead collaborative planning sessions
Contribute to curriculum development teams
Serve as an instructional expert
Serve as a resource for teachers
Serve as a resource for administrators
Serve as a resource for support staff
Train teachers in effective use of instructional technology
Train teachers in effective use of digital tools
Train teachers in effective use of learning management
Model blended teaching practices
