## Description The Lansing School District serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in the increasingly diverse urban community of Lansing, MI. In the pursuit of our mission, we are hiring Instructional Coaches. Instructional Coaches enhance student achievement by supporting teachers and teams. Using research-based models, they collaborate with educators to set clear goals and develop action plans addressing instructional needs. Coaches assist with resource gathering, model best practices, analyze data, and monitor progress. They provide professional development aligned with district goals. Successful coaches foster true partnerships, learning alongside teachers through a flexible and adaptable coaching process. Keeping detailed records, they collaborate with peers to improve teaching practices continuously. Coaches receive ongoing training for professional growth. ## Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in education or related field Three consecutive years of Effective or Highly Effective ratings.
