What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, Education, or a related field, OR 2-5 years of relevant professional experience, Proven experience designing and delivering training programs, Deep understanding of instructional design models and adult learning theory, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously, Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Must be a U. S. citizen and possess an active SECRET security clearance
Nice to Have
Experience developing training materials in accordance with military or other formal government standards (e.g., NAVEDTRA 142 series, NETC processes), Certification as a Military Instructor, Master Training Specialist, or an equivalent qualification, Experience with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Adobe Captivate), Familiarity with the Content Planning Module (CPM)/Learning Object Module (LOM) or AIM II, Operational experience in Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO), Operational experience with EMSO related software (e.g., RTSO, Spectrum XXI)
What You'll Do.
Design and develop instructional approaches and/or strategies to meet training requirements IAW NAVEDTRA 142 Series
Analyze training needs and conduct job task analyses in accordance with NAVEDTRA 142 series to define learning objectives
Design and develop comprehensive instructional strategies
and materials (such as storyboards
and quick reference guides)
Create learning content for various formats
including instructor-led
e-learning prototypes
and web-based training
Develop assessment methods to measure the effectiveness of training programs and learner performance
Complete course development projects and assigned tasks in accordance with established timelines
customer requirements
and quality standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to include subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content

Process & Methodology
Ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously, Complete course development projects and assigned tasks in accordance with established timelines, customer requirements, and quality standards
