Must Have
University degree in Computer Science, ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields, Minimum 4 years working experience in program management or digital related youth training, Demonstrated experience and skills in designing and providing training for youth, Demonstrated experience and skills in facilitation employment linkage, Familiarity with Linux server administration, Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and maintenance, Fluency in English (spoken and written)
What You'll Do.
Lead day-to-day operations of the DIY Centre and
Ensure effective delivery of program activities
Execute the DIY program according to approved timelines
Execute the DIY program according to budgets
Ensure compliance with Amref Health Africa and Vodafone
Plan and implement foundational skills training
Plan and implement digital skills training
Plan and implement entrepreneurship development
Plan and implement business incubation
Plan and implement coaching
Plan and implement mentorship for youth cohorts
Mobilize and engage youth through community structures
Mobilize and engage youth through youth coalitions
Deliver cohort-based training programs
Provide continuous coaching
Provide continuous mentorship
Support youth transition into employment
Support youth transition into self-employment
Conduct employer mapping
Conduct needs assessments
Facilitate internships
Facilitate job placements
Facilitate other employment opportunities
Support youth in establishing youth-led enterprises
Support youth in growing youth-led enterprises
Support youth in establishing social enterprises
Support youth in growing social enterprises
Promote utilization of DIY centers
Facilitate access to DIY centers
Encourage participation in the program
Serve as key liaison between implementing partners
Serve as key liaison between local stakeholders
Serve as key liaison between employers
Serve as key liaison between community actors
Ensure timely reporting on training outcomes
Ensure timely reporting on employment outcomes
Ensure timely reporting on enterprise outcomes
Ensure proper use of DIY Centre facilities
Ensure proper maintenance of DIY Centre facilities
