Full Job Description

Envirotrol is one of the leading HVAC sales and service companies in the southeastern United States, and we are looking for a Project/Install Technician to join our team. **As a Project/Install Technician, you will be responsible for** * Installing/servicing a variety of types of equipment * Contributing to project on-time and on-budget performance. * Work independently and also be able to work as a team. * Maintaining tools, equipment and job supplies * Maintaining a high standard of mechanical installation practices * Following all safety requirements and use appropriate PPE * Following written project installation plans * Keeping appropriate records * Flexibility to work extended shifts (e.g. early mornings and late nights) * Flexibility to work out of town, days at a time. **Requirements** * Must be able to communicate effectively with all customers, vendors and co-workers * Understanding of electrical schematics * Comprehension of refrigeration cycle * Basic knowledge of low voltage * Must be able to operate hand tools and powered tools safely * Must be proficient at soldering and brazing copper * Must be able to work on ladders, elevated platforms, boom lifts, and scaffolding * You will need a great attitude and an appetite for learning and wanting to grow in this business. **Education/Experience:** * Must have at least five years of installation experience. * Must have high school diploma or GED * Must have a valid driver's license * Must have CFC Universal Refrigerant Certification **Job Type:** Full-time **Benefits:** * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Referral program * Retirement plan * Vision insurance **Schedule:** 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday **License/Certification:** Driver's License (Preferred) **Work Location:** On the road
