Full Job Description
### The Role As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems across retail, commercial, and pharmaceutical environments. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer expectations. ### What You Will Do * Install and commission split and multi‑type air-conditioning systems * Carry out installation work including pipework, bracketry, cabling, and associated mechanical and electrical works * Complete and maintain accurate site surveys, commissioning reports, and installation records * Support the quotation process by identifying remedial, replacement, or upgrade opportunities * Liaise effectively with clients, site contacts, and other contractors on-site * Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard * Take responsibility for the development and progression of apprentices or junior technicians under your supervision ### What We Look For * Relevant City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent certifications * Proven experience in the full installation of HVAC systems * Strong experience with DX systems, split and VRF/VRV systems, air handling units (AHUs), and ventilation plant * Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment * Ability to interpret technical documentation including electrical and fluid schematics, piping diagrams, and psychrometric diagrams * Strong written and verbal technical communication skills * A proactive, can‑do attitude with strong problem-solving skills * Good IT and computer skills * Full, clean Irish driving licence ### What We Offer In return, we offer a supportive and inclusive company culture that promotes work–life balance, ongoing learning, and career development.
